Kim Chiu, in a video she recently uploaded on her YouTube channel, compared life to hiking, with paths that can sometimes go up and down.

The video, which was apparently taken in December of last year when Kimmy went to the United States to attend the wedding of Angelica Panganiban, appeared on her YouTube channel only a few hours ago.

In the video, one can see Kim and Bella enjoying a hike in the hilly areas of Los Angeles in California.

At one point, Kim pointed out the path below her and said that a lot of thoughts crossed her mind while she was hiking up the elevated area.

“Sobrang okay yung hike namin and dami kong na-reminisce in life and think about all the things that happened this 2023,” Kim said in the video.

The actress then compared life to hiking, with paths that go up and down, and instances where one could get lost but in the process, learn something.

“Ang hiking parang life lang, it goes up and down. And once you’re lost, you’re gonna learn something,” the actress said.

She then indicated that one shouldn’t worry when he or she is down as there is nowhere to go but up.

Kimmy also said that while there may also be instances when one couldn’t see any exit road, but he or she should just continue straight ahead so they could find their way back.

“And when you’re down, there’s nowhere to go but up or minsan walang exit road but you just got to go straight ahead and find your way back,” Kim said.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.”

In the same video that she recently uploaded on her YouTube channel, Kim appeared startled when she saw what her best friend, Bela Padilla, was trying to show her. The video was taken by the actress herself when she flew to the US last December to attend the wedding of another best friend, Angelica Panganiban. In the video, one can hear Kim asking Bela what was it that she was trying to show her. When she did see what Bela is pointing out to her, her face took on a surprised frown with a feigned pained look in her eyes.

Meanwhile, in a previous episode of "It's Showtime, Kimmy was asked about second chances. During the 'Expecially For You' segment, Vhong Navarro asked Kim about the topic. For Kim, she would no longer give a second chance, especially if she was left by the person she loved. However, Kim also explained it is a different case for everyone and answers could differ.
