Marian Rivera, in an Instagram post, expressed her gratitude to Senator Robinhood Padilla and the rest of the senators of the Senate of the Philippines for recognizing the success achieved by the movie “Rewind.”

In her post, the actress thanked Sen. Padilla for authoring Senate Resolution No. 909, which recognizes the success of the film.

“Ako at ang aking asawa kasama si Direk Mae Cruz Alviar at ang buong team sa likod ng ‘Rewind’, ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa pagtanggap ng Resolution No. 106 na isinusulong ni Sen. Robinhood Padilla, bilang pagkilala sa tagumpay ng pelikula,” Marian said in her post.

The rest of the senators have adopted the resolution authored by Sen. Padilla.

In his resolution, Sen. Padilla said the achievement of the movie is a “testament to the return of a vibrant and flourishing film industry.”

“This achievement is a testament to the return of a vibrant and flourishing Philippine film industry - attributed to the hard work and commitment of artists, writers, directors and all members of the production teams,” Sen. Padilla said in his resolution.

Marian, in her post, thanked everyone, particularly the senators, for their support and recognition.

“Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta at pagkilala! #RewindFilm #Resolution909,” Marian wrote.
