Bela Padilla, a Filipina actress, recently penned a heartbreaking note about her late dad, about seeing him cry for the first and last time.

On Tuesday, February 13, Bela took to her Instagram page, @bela, to repost a video made by Georgia Maher, about surprising her dad after being away.

In the viral video, a young woman could be seen serving her dad at a cafe, with her dad being stunned upon seeing his daughter again.

The dad then shed tears and went to give his daughter a warm hug, tugging at the heartstrings of countless netizens on social media.

Following this news, Bela penned a heartbreaking note about her late father and recalled the time he cried when he took her to the airport.

"The first and last time I saw my dad cry was also the last time he took me to the airport himself in 2019. The next time I visited, a few months after, he was very sick and was in the hospital... I never saw him out anymore after that day. He was either at home or in a hospital room. One minute he was laughing while Fellow filipinos were taking photos with me at the check in counter and the next minute he was crying as I waved goodbye, entering security to go to my boarding gate. I guess we don't really see our dads cry too much, do we?" she said.
