Carla Abellana, a prominent figure in local show business, recently admitted in a viral online post that the year 2023 was a very scary year for her.

On January 29, Monday, Carla took to her Instagram page, @carlaangeline, to upload a new reel about her contract renewal with GMA Network.

According to Carla, 2023 was a scary year for her, saying she thought she was no longer wanted.

"2023 was a very scary year for me. I thought I was no longer wanted. But I held my head up high and prayed hard persistently. Today, God has proven yet again that His will prevails and that my faith in Him has made the long wait worth it. More importantly, He brought the right individuals (and loved ones!) together for me, to show me that I am and will always be in good hands," she wrote.

By the end of her post, Carla thanked her "home network for the past 15 years" for all the trust, love, and belief they put on her.

"Lord, THANK YOU. I know you always have my back. To my home network for the past 15 years, THANK YOU for your continued trust, love and belief. SOLID and still a proud KAPUSO," she wrote.
