Xyriel Manabat, on her 20th birthday, received a sweet and lovely gesture from her boyfriend, Nathaniel Avila Toledo.

As the actress left her teenage years behind, Nathaniel treated her to a romantic car trunk surprise, which made the Kapamilya star emotional.

Xyriel took to her Instagram page and posted clips and photos showing snippets of the heartwarming surprise.

In her lengthy caption, the actress opened up that she had been wishing to experience such surprises.

“Most of the time im the party or surprise organizer. i plan and watch my family/friends/loved ones enjoy their day. Witnessing others make arrangements or preparations for the person they love had me feeling quite emotional and envious at some point. i will caught myself asking when is my turn? dont get me wrong my parents always make sure and give hundred percent effort to give me a birthday i deserve. but sometimes WAG KAYO PLASTIC minsan umaasa or hopia tayo na may ibang gagawa satin bukod sa pamilya natin ng mga ganiyang paganap ganap na surprises HAHAAHAHHA.”

The “Senior High” star went on to pen her message of appreciation to her significant other.

“With that… IIIIIIIIIIII WOULD WANT TO EXPRESS SUPER DUPER APPRECIATION TO THIS SPECIAL PERSON WHO MADE THIS EFFORT!!!! Coming from someone na never ko inexpect na may gantong side pala HHAHAHAHAHAHA a best friend of mine na nakilala kong torpe or nakokornihan sa mga gantong gimik WALA BUMIGAY AT PINAEXPERIENCE SAKIN ANG MATAGAL KO NANG INIIYAKAN AT WINIWISH NA KLASE NG SALUBONG.”

Xyriel Manabat, or Xyriel Anne Bustamante Manabat in real life was first recognized in the world of showbiz when she joined Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Idol in the year 2009 where she was awarded 3rd placer. The former child actress received acclamations for her performance in “100 Days to Heaven” and “Ikaw Ay Pag-Ibig.” She is also one of the cast of "Dirty Linen." She, and another young actor, Zaijian Jaranilla got great reviews and commendations from viewers of "Senior High."

Recently, Xyriel bid her role in "Senior High" goodbye in an IG post. The actress thanked her character "Roxy" and also commended "Roxanne." She also thanked everyone who comprised the series, which tackled social issues hounding teens nowadays.
