Pasay court, nag-isyu ng arrest order vs Toni Fowler kaugnay ng ‘MPL’ MV; Toni, nakapagpiyansa agad

- The Pasay Regional Trial Court-Branch 108 court has ordered the arrest of vlogger Toni Fowler, reports say

- The warrant of arrest was issued over her alleged violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act in relation to her “MPL” music video

- The said Pasay court recommended a bail in the amount of P120,000

- As per ABS-CBN News, the court also said that Fowler just posted bail this afternoon

A Pasay court issued a warrant of arrest against Toni Fowler over her alleged violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

According to GMA News, the arrest order was in relation to the complaints lodged by the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas against the famous vlogger in September 2023 over her purportedly “obscene” music videos.

The court recommended a bail in the amount of P120,000.

As per ABS-CBN News, the vlogger has just posted bail this Friday afternoon.

To recall, Fowler drew flak when her controversial music video “MPL” was released in February of 2023. This prompted Fowler to address the criticisms she received.

In a report by Bandera, Fowler told her detractors, “Pag ayaaaaaw nyo wag nyo panoorin pakasimple.”

Toni Fowler is a Filipino vlogger and actress. She is a well-known YouTube content creator involved in controversies about her career and relationships. Toni is currently among the cast members of "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" being top-billed by Coco Martin.

As previously reported by KAMI, Toni released an official statement regarding Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas's criminal case against her. The vlogger then addressed this controversy in one of her recent posts on social media. According to Toni, "Para sa KSMBPI, nais kong punahin at sagutin ang kasinunglingan ninyo sa media."

Toni also took to social media and shared her then-and-now snaps with Vhong Navarro. The throwback photo was taken in 2009 while the other one was taken when she guested on “It’s Showtime” last July. In the caption, Toni thanked the noontime show, which she dubbed her first home in ABS-CBN. She likewise penned a hilarious message for those who would comment that she was prettier several years ago.
