Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy got mostly negative reviews for hosting the 2024 Golden Globes at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

On Instagram, Filipino comedienne Pokwang expressed her support for Jo Koy amid the online bashings. She advised the bashers to stop hating on their fellow Filipinos and to reflect instead on their own imperfections.

In the background of her Instagram story is a screenshot of her online conversation with Jo Koy. Pokwang said “I love you” to Jo Koy and the latter replied “Mahal kita.”

Pokwang then thanked Jo Koy for replying and promised to support him no matter what. Jo Koy finished the conversation with the word “Love.”
