On January 11, Thursday, Ellen took to social media to hold yet another fun and quirky live Q&A session on her official page on Instagram.

Among the questions she received was about the controversial P299 engagement ring issue that has taken the Filipino community by storm.

"So obviously, you didn't understand my Bisaya answer about this.... grabe ka-trending. My answer is... it's not my problem so wala akong pake," she answered.

It could be worth recalling that an anonymous poster took to Hugot ni Juan to express her honest thoughts about her boyfriend's proposal ring.

Apparently, the engagement ring she was proposed with cost only P299, which greatly disappointed the anonymous poster.

"My BF of eight years just proposed to me. Pero na-guilty ako kasi I am upset due to the fact na the engagement ring only cost 299," the poster wrote.
