Ogie Diaz, niresbakan netizen na nagsabing si Mama Ogs daw source ng datos: “I-produce mo resibo”

Ogie Diaz, in a recent post on his X account, hit back at a netizen for claiming that the source of the data displayed in the latter’s post purportedly came from Mama Ogs, a showbiz reporter and talent manager.

In the post of the netizen, one can see the list of movies that joined the Metro Manila Film Festival, along with their alleged gross sales.

The list showed that the top spot is being occupied by “Rewind” with allegedly 153 million pesos in gross sales, followed by “Penduko” with supposedly 138 million pesos in gross sales.

Other movies on the list include “Mallari” with 132 million gross, “Firefly” with 101 million, and the fifth spot is occupied by Becky and Badette with an alleged gross sales of 92 million pesos.

Further down, one can see that the netizen placed Ogie Diaz’s name as the source of the information.

In a retweet on X, Ogie said he’s willing to give one million pesos to the netizen if she can produce a “resibo” or proof that it was Mama Ogs who said that such movie had a gross of such amount.

“Bigyan kita ng 1M, i-produce mo lang yung resibo na ako nagsabi niyan,” Ogie wrote in his X

Mama Ogs also wrote his advice to the netizen in case she wouldn’t be able to produce the said proof.

“Kung wala, matulog ka. Kulang ka sa tulog,” Ogie said.

Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is now conducting workshops.

Last week Ogie took to IG Stories and warned his followers about fake quote cards circulating about him. The quote cards contain alleged statements purporting to that of the manager. Mama Ogs explicitly said that he did not say the statements contained in the circulating postcards. He then directed his ire towards those pages on FB that are trying to gain followers but with the use of fake quote cards.

He also took to X and expressed his sentiment against "delulu fans."He said that there are other delulu fans who, when bashing him, act as if he is being fed by them. The manager then asked, what happens now that their idol actually admitted it. At the end of his message, he asked if they would be saying sorry.
