Sharon Cuneta, in a recent post on her Instagram account, shared a quote that described Christmas as also for the “broken” and those who are “hurting.”

In the post that Shawie shared, it said that “not everyone is looking forward to celebrating Christmas just like most people."

“Not everyone is looking forward to celebrating Christmas just like the others,” Sharon’s post reads.

The said post further revealed that some people would see empty seats at their tables, as well as empty spaces under Christmas trees.

“Some will now have that empty seat in their tables. Some with an empty space under their Christmas tree,” further reads the post shared by the Megastar.

The post also suggested that some people might be spending their Christmas with wet pillowcases and broken hearts.

“Some with wet pillowcases and broken hearts,” it read.

“There are people finding this season difficult to celebrate. And so, my hope is that may we be more sensitive and may we show compassion, comfort and understanding to those going through hard times,” the post further revealed.

The Megastar also wrote her own caption to the post she shared, bidding everyone goodnight and reminding people that she loves them so much.

“Goodnight na po sa inyong lahat. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. God bless us all.❤️,” Sharon wrote.

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan.

Recently, the Megastar posted a message for her Kuya Chet, saying that it has been three years and she already misses him. She also apologized to her Kuya for posting such a message because she wasn't able to talk to her brother despite her numerous attempts to reach out to him. In her post, she also included a photo of her and her Kuya Chet.

In a previous post, she revealed she is going through something at the moment. The Megastar, however, did not give any indication of what was it that she was going through. In her post, she said Christmas is her favorite time of the year but this year, she has not felt the “usual joy and excitement” she often feels in his heart during this season. Shawie also indicated that people may see her laugh but deep inside, her “heart is in pieces.”
