Alexa Ilacad, a Kapamilya actress, was not able to attend the ABS-CBN Christmas Special event, which was held at Araneta Coliseum.

On Wednesday, December 13, Alexa took to her Instagram page, @alexailacad, to break the unfortunate news to her fans and followers.

According to Alexa, upon going to the Araneta Coliseum, she tested positive on her antigen test, which meant she could not enter the facilities.

In her viral online post on Instagram, Alexa apologized a lot to her fans and supporters who went to the show to see her and KD Estrada.

"Tested positive on my antigen test upon going to the Araneta Coliseum for the ABS-CBN Christmas Special. Please don't worry. I'm okay... physically. But my heart is breaking! Missing you all right now, Sweethearts & Solids! So sad I can't be there. Hugs to each & everyone of you! I prepared for you. I wanted to make you proud. I fought hard to be there but I need to respect & follow safety protocols. Thank you, my loves, for EVERYTHING you do!" she wrote.

Alexa Ilacad, or Alexandra Madarang Ilacad, is an actress, singer, and dancer from the Philippines. She has made appearances on ABS-CBN shows. Her showbiz career has thrived since she starred on the kiddie comedy program Goin' Bulilit.

Meanwhile, Alexa Ilacad shared a cute and relatable post on her Instagram feed. Apparently, she once again had an adorable encounter with Marian Rivera. She captioned her post with, "Another fangirl moment with my idol, @marianrivera. I love you, ate Yan."
