Joey de Leon has recently taken to social media and shared a post about an old logo of “Eat Bulaga.”

On his Instagram page, Joey published a photo of him wearing a shirt with the 1980 logo of the noontime show printed on it. It is worth noting that Joey wore the said shirt during yesterday’s episode of “E.A.T” on TV5.

Alongside the photos, Joey proudly shared that he helped create the logo.

He further explained the design of the logo, which has parts related to talking and eating.

“This is the 1980 Eat Bulaga logo I helped design. Tungkol sa pagsasalita at pagkain.”

The veteran comedian underscored, “May dalawang dila at may TILAO o UVULA, yung kuntil sa lalamunan. FYI.”

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey. The trio has made several comedy movies and TV shows together.

TVJ social media pages’ recent post has delighted the supporters of the “Legit Dabarkads.” It contains photos of legendary trio Tito, Vic and Joey together with their co-hosts. In the caption, it can be noticed that the production mentioned “Eat Bulaga.” The post came after TVJ won the “Eat Bulaga” trademark dispute. Allan K, Ryan Agoncillo, Miles Ocampo, Atasha Muhlach, and their fellow “E.A.T” hosts then reacted to the post.

Joey also took to Instagram and shared a clip concerning respect. The "Eat Bulaga" host said that he does not actually expect respect from res-fake. This came after the Intellectual Property Office canceled the trademark registration of Tape Inc., for "Eat Bulaga." Many netizens also congratulated TVJ for what they have accomplished at the IPO level.
