Kim Chiu, a Kapamilya star, has stirred buzz on social media after the latest episode of It's Showtime aired today.
In the December 5 episode of the show, during the 'EXpecially For You' segment, the song Malaya by Moira Dela Torre was sung.
The video then cut to a clip of Kim listening to the song with a sad expression on her face, prompting her to hide her face afterward.
This was then reposted by Kapamilya Online World, on their Instagram page, @kowalerts, which garnered tons of comments from netizens on social media.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.” She is in a relationship with actor Xian Lim who is already a Kapuso.
As previously reported by KAMI, Kim Chiu was once more teased by her co-hosts on "It's Showtime." This time around it was Ogie Alcasid who sang a few lines from the "Linlang" theme song, "Anong nangyari?" Ogie sang, "Anong nangyari sa ating dalawa" and the song replayed in the background. Kim then said, alright, it will just be five minutes more and it will be finished.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Gerald Anderson, the actor showered Kim with praises over her performance in "Linlang." Previously, Gerald was being interviewed by several reporters at a press conference. There, Gerald received a question about Kim's outstanding performance on the show. According to Gerald, Kim is a "hard worker" when it comes to her craft.
