Darren Espanto recently responded to criticisms from netizens regarding his performance in the movie 'The Hows of Us,' starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
In various tweets, netizens expressed their dissatisfaction with Darren's acting in the film.
Without hesitation, the singer acknowledged the feedback and openly admitted that he hadn't undergone any acting workshops before taking on his role in the movie.
In a tweet, Darren apologized, saying, "Sorry na. Aminado naman ako, wala nga akong workshops bago isalang sa ‘The Hows Of Us’ eh. Pero pramis, bumawi ako sa ‘Lyric & Beat’ at ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’. Si Direk Cathy na nagsabi. Wag na kayo magalit. Yieee @taylorgrxy @pcybar."

Darren Espanto, born on May 24, 2001 as Darren Lyndon Gonzales Espanto, is a Filipino-Canadian singer and actor well-known for his cover songs such as "Dying Inside To Hold You", originally sung by Timmy Thomas. He first joined a competition at the age of ten, where he won the Masters Finals of the Pinoy Singing Sensation competition in Edmonton.
In a previous report by KAMI, Darren Espanto made the rounds on social media due to Vhong Navarro's cryptic question to him. The singer was among the judges of It's Showtime's "Tawag ng Tanghalan Duets" on Monday. During the said segment, Vhong asked Darren, "Anong pinapanood mo kaninang 12 o'clock?"
