Tim Yap pays homage to Filipino horror-movie icon Lilia Cuntapay in stunning Halloween costume

Tim Yap's annual Halloween Ball held at the National Museum of Anthropology was completely star-studded, with each celeb donning their best horrific or heroic costumes.

The host and eventologist, for himself, chose to pay homage to Lilia Cuntapay, one of the Philippines horror-movie icons of all time.

Every bit of detail of his costume was unmistakably Lilia.

From the hair to the dress, including the small "tiyanak" that he was holding, all made everyone remember the old lady who graced almost every Pinoy horror movie.

Aside from Tim, another notable celeb who captured the attention of many with her costume was Andrea Brillantes, who wore an aswang-inspired costume.

Timothy Yap is a Pinoy TV and radio host and also an eventologist. He is well-known in social circles.

Previously, Tim reflected on his close friendship with Lovi Poe in an Instagram post. His post came after attending Lovi’s luxurious wedding with Monty Blencowe in the UK. In his post, Tim recalled his first meeting with Lovi during their time as endorsers for Belo Beauty on the show SOP, praising Lovi's beauty.

In 2021, Tim also replied to a netizen who had a harsh comment on his latest social media post. The post on his Instagram page showed his vacation photo at a beach in Nasugbu, Batangas. In the said picture, the TV and radio personality can be seen wearing a shirt with built-in mask. A basher, however, related Tim’s new photo to his controversial birthday party in Baguio.
