Pilar Mateo, the former publicist of Francis Magalona, has recently spoken up about her time with the later 'Master Rapper' and his relationship with Pia Magalona.

In an exclusive interview with Bandera, Pilar claimed that Francis and Pia were a "happy and loving couple" who doted on their children.

"Sa dalas ko sa bahay nila that time, I saw a very happy and loving couple. Pia as the one managing FM’s career was very hands on talaga pagdating sa trabaho ni Francis. On the homefront both were doting parents to the kids. Very loving sa mga anak nila. Lalo na si FM na very close sa mga bata," she told Bandera.

However, Pilar also admitted that while the couple were indeed loving and happy with each other, fights would occur every now and then.

In the report of Bandera, Pilar even said, "Masaya sila. Sweet couple. Not perfect. May away-away din. Wala pa sa Eat Bulaga that time si FM. But I could say happy family, happy couple. Di naman nawawala ang away at tampuhan. Natatandaan ko nung nagugulo ako sa relationship ko, silang dalawa ang nasa likod ko. But that’s another story."

Meanwhile, on Facebook, Pilar also released another throwback photo she took with Francis and Pia from their wedding.

Francis Magalona was one of the most famous hip-hop artists in the Philippines. He also became beloved as one of the hosts of ‘Eat Bulaga.’ Francis M was married to Pia Magalona, and their children include celebrities Saab, Maxene, and Elmo Magalona.

In the video, Gaile introduced herself as the "youngest daughter of Francis Magalona." She also sang his song as a tribute on his 14th death anniversary.
