Rufa Mae Quinto, a Filipina actress-comedian, has stirred buzz on social media after thanking the people who went out of their way to donate to her daughter.

On her Instagram page, @rufamaequinto, the actress-comedian uploaded a photo she took with her daughter, Athena Magallanes, as they counted their donations.

She then penned a lengthy message to the people who donated, revealing it was for her daughter's school's fundraising event.

"Thank you sa mabubuting puso na nag donate sa anak ko na si Athena Magallanes, para sa school niya. Isang tulog nalang Athena will run glow and all students of @olphsaintsdc, sa mga nais na mag-share ng blessings sa fund raising nila para maka pag-renovate ng bathroom nila and students project, any amount po ay appreciated. More blessings to all! Amen," she wrote.

According to Ruffa, it is their first time to be involved in a fundraising event, and it feels good to be able to help others.

"First time po namin ma-experience itong ma-involve sa mga fundraising pero masarap sa dibdib ang maka help or charity! I feel good and blessed!" she exclaimed.
