Alden Richards, during “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, shared his thoughts on Mikee Quintos’s revelation.

As per the award-winning actor, he was surprised to hear that Mikee unveiled that she confessed her feelings to Alden back in the day.

“Ngayon ko lang po siya narinig. Actually, nagulat po ako,” Alden told Tito Boy.

“But Mikee and I are very close during the tapings po,” he continued.

It can be recalled that Alden and Mikee worked together in the Kapuso primetime series titled “The Gift.”

Furthermore, Alden said he thought that Mikee’s confession was in the context of friendship.

“Ako po kasi, ang understanding ko is in the context of friendship,” he opened up.

He is also known as “Asia’s Multimedia Star” after receiving the Asian Star Prize awards during the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards of 2019 for acting. He rose to fame as the partner of Maine Mendoza in their tandem, AlDub, on “Eat Bulaga.”

Previously, Mikee Quintos admitted to Boy Abunda that she fell in love with actor Alden Richards years ago. This happened when they worked together on the 2019 Kapuso series ‘The Gift.’ The actress described Alden as a sweet, kind, genuine, and God-fearing person. Alden did not reciprocate when Mikee expressed her true feelings to Alden.
