Alden Richards, emosyonal nang mapag-usapan ang fans niya

Alden Richards, during his latest guesting on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” could not help getting emotional while talking about his fans.

In the said program, the Asia’s King of Talk asked the actor to describe his supporters.

To which Alden wholeheartedly answered, “My fans are not perfect, I'm not perfect po, and we are all not perfect. But one thing is clear and for sure I love my fans very much.”

“Bakit ba ako naiiyak? Hindi naman nila ako kilalang ganito?” he later expressed while his eyes were wet with tears.

The “Five Break-Ups and a Romance” star went on to air more earnest words about the fans.

“Pero that's the reason why during our event po, I really said that from the bottom of my heart that in everything that we do, the showbiz industry would not be here if not for the fans. If not for the people who will watch the things that we do, buy tickets, fall in line to concerts, wake up early.”

“Ang sarap po sa pakiramdam that there are people that's willing to go out of their way just to be with you. To show their love and support. And ang liit-liit lang po ng hinihingi nila pabalik, which is acknowledgement.”

He also tackled the things he thinks his fans deserve, which are inclusivity and credit.

“And as an actor, and now, as a producer, I want to practice inclusivity. I want them to always be part of all the things that I'm gonna be doing because they deserve it. They deserve the credit and if not for them wala po ako sa kung nasaan ako ngayon.”

Richard Reyes Faulkerson, Jr., more popularly by his screen name, Alden Richards, is a Pinoy actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He is also known as “Asia’s Multimedia Star” after receiving the Asian Star Prize awards during the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards of 2019 for acting. He rose to fame as the partner of Maine Mendoza in their tandem, AlDub, on “Eat Bulaga.”

In the same interview, Alden has finally addressed the burning question of whether he, at one time, fall for Maine Mendoza. “Yes, hypocrite po ako kung hindi,” the Kapuso star answered.
