Yasmien Kurdi just bought her mother a new house, which is located right beside her home, PikaPika reported.

This is because she wanted to look after her mom who was going through some illness.

She said that she initially tried to tell her mom to live with them, but the latter would not, which was why she bought one for her.

Now, her mother is excited about her new home.

"Ngayon, biglaan talaga, nabilhan ko tuloy siya ng bahay sa tabi ng bahay ko. So far, hindi ko pa napapakita sa kanya. Surprise muna so, excited siya."

In a GMA report, the actress said she becomes emotional whenever her mother would be the subject.

She revealed in Bandera that her mother was confined at the hospital for several days.

Yasmien Kurdi is a Filipina actress, singer-songwriter, and commercial model. She rose to popularity after joining and being the 1st runner-up on the first season of Starstruck, a reality-based talent search show by GMA Network. She graduated with Latin honors in AB Political Science from Arellano University. She is married to a pilot and they have one daughter.

In a previous report, Rey Soldevilla, the husband of Yasmien, made a witty comment on the post of his wife, wherein the actress was asked if it is true that if the groom cries during the wedding, then there is a higher chance of separation. Yasmien was also the one who replied in the comments and said that she was thankful that her pangga did not cry.

She also took to Facebook and asked about the connection between males who cry during marriage and eventual separation. She asked if it was true that if a man cried at his wedding, there's a higher chance of breaking up. The Kapuso actress then commented on her own post and was thankful that her husband did not cry during the wedding.
