Mark Paul Robert Paterson or simply Markus Paterson is an actor, singer, and host in the Philippines. He is the former boyfriend of Kapamilya actress, Janella Salvador, with whom he has a child named Jude Trevor Paterson. Janella is a Filipina actress. She is the daughter of Jenine Desiderio and Rage band frontman, Juan Miguel Salvador. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Nikki Grace “Nik-Nik” Lim in "Be Careful With My Heart." She played the role of Valentina in ABS-CBN's "Mars Ravelo's Darna" series.

Janella turned another year older and wiser on March 30. Among the celebrities who greeted the actress was her former partner, Markus. Janella was also shown in Markus's heartfelt post on Mother's Day. On Instagram Stories, Markus greeted all mothers, especially the amazing mothers in his life. "Happiest Mother's Day to all of amazing mothers out there, but a special shout out to the amazing mothers in my life," Markus said in his on-screen caption.
