Aiko Melendez recently took to Instagram to express her heartfelt birthday wishes for Carmina Villarroel.

The latter celebrated her birthday on August 17.

The Instagram post features a photo of Carmina along with Aiko's message for her.

Aiko and Carmina have been friends for more than 30 years, which proves they're really close to each other.

In her post, Aiko expressed how much she appreciates the birthday celebrant.

"I can't think of a better gift than your friendship — happy birthday! My one and only GF @mina_villarroel 30++++ years of friendship and still counting! You are a blessing to us many! LOVE YOU MUCHO," she penned.

Then, Carmina also reacted to Aiko's post, and she was so moved by it.

"Awww. Thank you so much gf. I love you and I miss you @aikomelendez," she replied.
