Herlene, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 in the recent Miss Grand Philippines pageant. Herlene plays the lead role in Kapuso afternoon series "Magandang Dilag."

Earlier, the former manager of the beauty queen, Wilbert Tolentino sent a message to his former talent. He expressed how proud he is of his achievements with Herlene during their time together. The businessman also promised to help Herlene in understanding new contracts and if she needs advice on anything. Finally, he encouraged Herlene to visit his home if she ever needs his help, promising to be her “mima,” guardian angel, and protector forever.
