Kristel Fulgar shared on her YouTube vlog the heart-wrenching story behind her sudden replacement as the host for Seo In-guk's recent fan meet in Manila. Kristel, who had been eagerly preparing for the event, expressed her disappointment and regret over not being given a second chance to prove herself.

The unexpected turn of events came as a shock to both Kristel and her fans, who were looking forward to her hosting debut for her Korean idol of 11 years. The actress recounted how the Korean technical director for In-guk's fan meet conveyed to her that she would no longer be hosting the event due to her perceived lack of energy during the rehearsal. Karen Bordador eventually hosted the event.
"Nag-eexpect ako na ipapaakyat ulit ako sa stage para mapakita ko 'yung 100 percent [energy] na sinasabi ko pero hindi daw. Hindi man lang ako binigyan ng second chance," Fulgar emotionally shared in her vlog, her voice laden with disappointment and sadness.
She apologized sincerely to her fellow fans and supporters who had been excitedly anticipating her hosting stint.

"Nahihiya ako sa mga taong nag-expect na ako 'yung haharap sa kanila. I'm so sorry, guys," Fulgar expressed tearfully.
Despite the heartbreaking turn of events, Fulgar did not let her fans down entirely. She offered a glimpse of her one-on-one interaction with the "Cafe Minamdang" star, revealing that Seo In-guk himself felt sorry about the incident. The two shared heartwarming moments, taking photos together and even treating fans to a duet performance of In-guk's hit song, "All For You."
