Iza Calzado shares glimpses of birthday celebration with family, fellow dance enthusiasts

Iza Calzado had a fun and meaningful celebration of her 41st birthday last August 12.

She took to social media and posted about the heartwarming celebration.

According to her post, the actress marked her birthday in dance session together with her fellow dance enthusiasts.

They were also joined by Iza’s husband Ben Wintle and their daughter Deia Amihan.

On her Instagram page, the celebrity mom uploaded a reel showing glimpses of the celebration.

In the reel, Iza could likewise be heard giving a speech. She said she decided to have the said celebration to connect with her late parents, especially her father Lito Calzado, who was a choreographer.

“Celebrated my birthday in the most fun and meaningful way last Saturday. Dance class with fellow dance enthusiasts and a few friends who tapped into their inner dance diva plus Ben and Deia made it in time for us to have them join in the fun!” Iza said in the caption.

“Much love and thanks to everyone who showed up and gave good energy. So grateful to my generous @belobeauty family @cristallebelo @victoria_belo for treating us to class and some goodies. Last but definitely not the least thank you so much @bigbadbawang for organizing teacher @neslyannalexis class. You all truly know how to make someone feel BELOved!”

She went on and expressed, “Dancing is a way for me to connect — with my body, to the present moment, with kindred souls and with my family particularly my father.”

“My fervent wish is that my daughter shares this love for dance with me. May it light up her soul and be a way for her to feel that we are connected, forever,” she added.

Iza Calzado is a Filipino actress, producer, model, and television host. She is popularly known for films such as The Echo (2008), Ang Panday 2 (2011), and Bliss (2017), among many others. Over the years, she has proven to be a dominant force in the entertainment scene. She started her career in GMA-7 but signed a contract with ABS-CBN in 2012.

According to Iza, her daughter held the position 3 minutes longer than the first time she did it. Needless to say, this news delighted Iza, as well as her followers on social media.
