Jessy Mendiola took to IG and shared a picture of her postpartum fitness progress.

The celeb mom has come a long way and is slowly building her abs.

"Slow progress is still progress," she said.

Jessy also shared her realizations as she makes the effort to get back into shape.

"I realized that the reason I want to stay fit and healthy is to be able to take care of my daughter, not to get back into size xs."

She said that Baby Peanut is already growing each day and she simply needs to keep up.

"She’s growing each day and I have to keep up. I want to be able to run and carry her without catching my breath. The abs and cuts are only perks that come with it."

Jessy Mendiola is an actress, product endorser, and model from the Philippines. She was one of the artists launched under Star Magic batch 15 by ABS-CBN. She went on to star in the lead role for the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela 'Maria Mercedes' which catapulted her into stardom. She is married to actor and television host Luis Manzano, the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano.

She and Luis recently stirred buzz on social media because of their unica hija. Just recently, new photos of Jessy and Luis with their unica hija, Isabella, dropped on social media. In the photos, baby Isabella, or baby 'Peanut,' looked absolutely cute and beautiful. The said photos also elicited positive comments from netizens on her official Instagram page.

The actress also took to IG Stories and openly shared her "lutang moment." She said that she accidentally deleted the first post on Baby Peanut. The post was three photos of the little baby, who was asking her mom for food. It was also in the deleted post where Grandma Vilma Santos commented on the cuteness of Baby Peanut.
