Herlene Budol set forth her meaningful advocacy on the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 stage.
In the Top 15 speech portion of the pageant held at SM Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, Herlene vowed to promote cyber safety.
She delivered her speech in Tagalog, which her English interpreter translated.
“Bilang isang influencer, isusulong ko ang cryber safety. Proteksyon laban sa kahit anong uri ng online harassment. Gagamitin ko ang lahat ng aking plataporma upang sa pangmalawakang kapayapaan. Samahan niyo ako at tapusin ang cyber violence. Proteksiyon sa bawat netizen, kapayapaan sa bawat citizen. Ako po si Herlene Nicole Budol at ito ang aking bagong misyon, Khob Khun Ka.”

While presenting her advocacy, it was also noticeable that the “Magandang Dilag” star expressed, “Woooh,” which brought a cheerful mood to the venue.

Herlene, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
Herlene created a huge buzz for bagging the Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 crown. She won the title during the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant held at SM Mall of Asia Arena on July 13. Nikki de Moura of Cagayan de Oro City was crowned Miss Grand Philippines 2023 at the said competition.
Herlene’s answer during the Q&A portion of Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant also went viral. One of the judges asked Herlene what she thinks is the most urgent problem among Filipino youth and how she would address it. The “Magandang Dilag” star then mentioned that education is the most urgent problem among youth in the country. She also made the crowd cheer for her when she said, “I-English-in niya po,” referring to her interpreter.
