Herlene Budol, isinalaysay naging experience niya sa Ms. Grand: "Nerve wracking at akala ko di ako napili"

Herlene Budol took to Instagram and shared the experience that she had during the first cut of Ms. Grand Philippines.

She revealed that it was a nerve-wracking experience, saying that she even thought that she would not be called.

Herlene feared that she would meet a lot of bashing in the event that she did not make it to the Top 15 cut despite the four minor awards given to her.

"2nd to the last ako tinawag sa first cut ng @msgrandphilippines. Grabe...Nerve racking at akala ko di ako napili sa Top 15 after ako na Award na 4 special award baka buhusan ako ng mga bashing," she said.

The Kapuso star then said that there was a blessing.

She also bagged four minor awards in the competition.

"Best in Runway, Miss Arena Plus, Miss Ever Bilena, Miss Mermaid Manila Hair. Not bad at all."

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. She was the first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

Recently, Herlene also made an appreciation post for her manager, friend, and mentor, Wilbert Tolentino, praising him for his hard work. The beauty queen got extremely stressed due to issues regarding her national costume for the upcoming Miss Grand Philippines 2023. Wilbert came to the rescue and found a new epic costume for her. According to Herlene, Wilbert is a supportive and resourceful manager.

She also took to IG Stories and had her Q&A for her followers. She was very happy when there was finally someone who actually asked her a question. The question posed to her was, "Kumusta ka Ms. Herlene." Herlene then added a funny caption, "May nagtanong din sa wakas! Thank you."
