Claudine Barretto has received additional support and love from former actress, Bunny Paras, in the midst of the controversial claims of sultry actress, Sabrina M.

Bunny, a former teen star who is now based in the US, affirmed that Clau is the one and only true love of the late Rico Yan.

The former teen star made her presence and support felt in the comments section of Claudine’s Instagram account.

“@claubarretto love you and yes you are Ricos true love wala ng iba,” Bunny wrote in the comments section.

She then said that even if she’s abroad, she would always be there for Claudine.

“Always here for you Clau kahit sa US ako you have me here for you,” the former teen star further wrote.

Bunny then expressed her love and affection for Claudine.

“I love you so much sis,” Bunny wrote.

The controversy began when Sabrina, in a presscon last week for her upcoming movie, “Manang,” claimed that she and Rico were in a secret relationship for years.

She also claimed that their romantic affair started when Clau and Rico broke up, which according to reports occurred in December 2021.

However, it can also be recalled that the following year, or in March of 2022, the actor suddenly died of “cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis” while vacationing in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

This was the contention of the lawyer of Claudine, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, in an interview earlier with Cristy Fermin.

Atty. Topacio, who asked Sabrina to apologize or else they would initiate legal action, asked how can the sultry star be in a relationship with Rico for years after Clau when the actor died a couple of months after the breakup.

Claudine Barretto is a well-known Filipina actress who is known for her dramatic skills. She married Raymart Santiago in 2006, but they separated in 2013. Sabina, Santino, Quia, and Noah are the actress' four children.

Sabrina M seemed to have been issued an ultimatum by Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, the lawyer of Claudine, in an interview today on the show “Cristy Ferminute.” Atty. Topacio warned Sabrina that unless she issues an apology to Claudine and to the memory of Rico Yan, they would be constrained to take legal steps against her. The issue stemmed from the recent declaration of Sabrina that she and Rico were in a romantic relationship for years after the actor’s love affair with Claudine ended. Claudine and Rico were sweethearts, both on and off the camera, until their breakup in December of 2001, with the actor's untimely death on March 19, 2002, roughly three months after they parted ways.

Claudine posted a photo of her and actress Katrina Paula and thanked the latter for telling the truth. She said that it was a divine intervention of God and Rico and that she found a new friend and sister. Clau thanked Katrina for clearing the name of Rico, as well as her name. She also encouraged the RYCB fandom to thank Katrina for standing up for Rico and her.
