Ice Seguerra’s wife, Liza Diño, took to social media to share an update about her father‘s health condition. Liza revealed that her dad, former DILG Usec Martin Diño, has been battling stage 4 cancer for a year now.

She praised her father’s strength and optimism amid his battle with cancer. According to Liza, what motivates her dad is his desire to continue being a public servant.

Lastly, Liza promised to always support and love her father no matter what happens.

“So yeah, my dad is fighting the big C (stage 4) but we won’t let if defeat us. I just realized its been a year now since we found out he is sick and while its been difficult for our family, we are inspired by my papa’s determination and fighting spirit. Ang dami nya pang gustong gawin. Ang dami nya pang gustong matulungan and I know nagpapalakas sya dahil gusto nyang bumalik sa public service.

“I’m looking at our photo and I just realized, when challenges like these come your way, you can’t help but be grateful just for the fact that you get live another day; that being happy doesnt take that much because you recognize the value of the little things in life.

“Im so happy to see you happy papa. Your hair! Omg, it’s back. You look great! Im so proud of you. And look at that smile. Never nawala ang charm . Jusko, kaya guapo pa rin!!! Ang tapang mo papa. Basta laban tayo. Nandito kami sa likod mo! Love you,” Liza shared.

Ice Seguerra, or Cariza Yamson Seguerra in real life, is a Filipino actor, singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is also a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and the spouse of Liza Diño.

In a previous report, Ice and Liza gave each other ultimate gifts in celebration of their anniversary. They also expressed their thanks for eight years of a strong relationship. The two also shared photos of their bonding moments to show how much they love each other.

Earlier, Ice posted a throwback video showing his family’s priceless moment with his late father, Decoroso Seguerra. In the heartfelt video posted on the singer’s Instagram page, Decoroso, could be seen singing Filipino lullaby “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan” with Ice and his mother Caridad Yamson-Seguerra.
