"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.
Pauleen and Danica reacted to EAT’s debut on TV5. According to Pauleen, the EAT hosts and their family members are super emotional and grateful to TV5. She believes that her husband Vic Sotto and the other EAT hosts will give their 100% to show their gratitude. Vic’s daughter Danica expressed how proud and happy she is for TVJ, calling this new chapter “exciting times.”
Pauleen called the launch of “E.A.T.” on TV5 as a “humbling experience” for her. In a post on social media, Pauleen expressed her gratitude to the Almighty for everything. She also gave thanks to TVJ and the Dabarkads, as well as TV5 for granting the group a home. The celebrity mom then wrote her expectations about the show in the same social media post.
