These include the Dabarkads' move to TV5, "Eat Bulaga" celebrating its 44th anniversary, and the anticipated "very special day" for his inaanaks, Arjo and Maine.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. Tape Inc.'s "Eat Bulaga" recently went back live on air on GMA with its new lineup of hosts, including Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar and Betong Sumaya.

In a previous report by KAMI, Joey De Leon, in a social media post, showed just how proud he is of his new boss, Manny V. Pangilinan, also referred to as MVP. In his post, Joey displayed an old news clipping bearing a report about his boss with its caption revealing that MVP has been watching ‘Eat Bulaga’ for a long time. This prompted the TV host and comedian to exclaim amazement at life’s little surprises. He then promised MVP that from now on, he would no longer go through what he has experienced in watching ‘Eat Bulaga’ from abroad.

Earlier, TV5 shared an amusing video of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and the "legit Dabarkads." In the video, the TV hosts were asked what they think the title of their upcoming show should be. Ryan Agoncillo, Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo, and Maine Mendoza then aired hilarious title suggestions. Joey likewise proposed, "Sa opening kaya kanya-kanya tayong title."
