In his post, Joey displayed an old news clipping, which appeared to be that of The Inquirer, bearing a report about his boss.

The caption of the article revealed that MVP has been watching ‘Eat Bulaga’ for a long time, even when he’s abroad.

This prompted the TV host and comedian to exclaim amazement at life’s little surprises.

“Ang buhay nga naman, parang life! Found this in one of my kraft albums (2009)—-that’s my Boss!” Joey wrote in the caption.

In the news article, it states that MVP, who is known for his busy business cycle, has a life after all.

“Manny Pangilinan has a life!” the caption screamed.

Below it might have been quoted from a statement of MVP within the news article.

“Ordinary Chinese food- that's what we have in the boardroom (in Hong Kong) while watching 'Eat Bulaga,' which is on delayed telecast,” the quote, which perhaps originated from MVP’s statement, read.

Because of this, Joey promised his boss he would no longer watch ‘Eat Bulaga’ on a delayed telecast.

“No more delayed telecasts for you…LIVE na! #TV5,” Joey wrote.

Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon, collectively known as TVJ, along with the “Dabarkads,” are set to launch their noontime show on TV5 this coming Saturday, July 1, 2023.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. Tape Inc.'s "Eat Bulaga" recently went back live on air on GMA with its new lineup of hosts, including Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar and Betong Sumaya.

Recently, TV5 shared an amusing video of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and the "legit Dabarkads." In the video, the TV hosts were asked what they think the title of their upcoming show should be. Ryan Agoncillo, Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo and Maine Mendoza then aired hilarious title suggestions. Joey likewise proposed, "Sa opening kaya kanya-kanya tayong title."

Joey also shared a photo, in which he is with Tito Sotto and Vic Sotto. He posted it on his Instagram feed and captioned it with witty wordplay. His post reads, "TVJ—-Go for PureGOLD! EAT (Eto Ang Tunay) na Ginto." Furthermore, Joey's post has gone viral and likewise received various comments from netizens.
