Sylvia Sanchez, in an Instagram post, shared some photos of her family together with the family of Maine Mendoza.

The pics were taken during their “pamamanhikan,” a longtime Pinoy tradition that is still being observed by many up to now.

The veteran actress then captioned her post with the word, “Pamamanhikan,” coupled with a heart emoji.

In one of the photos, Sylvia is seen with her husband, Art Atayde, and their son Arjo, along with Maine and her own parents.

They were joined by a group of people in another photo, presumably more members of the Atayde and Mendoza family, and were all in a joyous mood.

“The Ataydes & Mendozas will soon merge as one family❤️,” Sylvia further wrote in her caption.

Sylvia is a Filipina actress, known for her dramatic roles. She is the mother of actors Arjo Atayde and Ria Atayde. She was recently seen on Kapamilya series "Huwag Kang Mangamba."

Earlier, Sylvia also took to Instagram and shared a video clip of their trip going to Maine Mendoza's home. The family of Sylvia was making the big step, the "pamamanhikan." She captioned her post with "the very important destination." Maine, upon the arrival of Sylvia and her family, went out of their home to greet her future mother-in-law.

In another IG post, Sylvia was praised by veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis who said that the actress is worthy of all the blessings she’s been receiving. The veteran showbiz columnist said that the actress possesses a good attitude, which is why a lot of good things are happening in her life. She then enumerated some of the biggest blessings received and being enjoyed by the veteran actress now. Sylvia is the mother of actor-turned-politician, Arjo Atayde, and actress Ria Atayde.
