Paolo Contis, ginamit sariling FB account para ma-stream ang bagong EB

Paolo Contis recently placed the live streaming of TAPE’s “Eat Bulaga” posted on his own FB account.

After the official Facebook and YouTube pages of the noontime show were taken down.

The said social media platforms did not state the reasons why they took down TAPE’s “Eat Bulaga” pages.

However, in a live stream of EB last Tuesday, June 20, Paolo voiced out his suspicion that the take down may have been the result of a mass reporting.

It can be recalled that followers of TVJ’s “Eat Bulaga” were speculated to have been behind the bashing of Paolo and his co-hosts on the show.

Amid this new challenge, Paolo bravely declared that they would continue posting in the face of more possible reporting by some netizens.

“Report lang kayo nang report, post lang kami nang post! Hanggang sa mapagod kayong mag-report,” Paolo said during the July 20 episode of TAPE’s “Eat Bulaga.”

He then declared they would never stop until the show would have its own Facebook page.

“Hindi po kami hihinto sa pag-try na magkaroon ng Facebook page na ‘yan!” the actor said during the show.

Paolo is a Filipino actor and comedian who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". Despite being cast in the popular teleserye "Mara Clara", Contis was better known for being part of the primetime sitcom "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards. His celebrity ex-girlfriends include Lian Paz and LJ Reyes.

TAPE’s “Eat Bulaga” Facebook and YouTube pages apparently have been taken down from the said social media platforms. In both platforms, searching for “Eat Bulaga” mostly shows results of the program being hosted by TVJ and other third party streamers, but nothing on the official page of TAPE’s Eat Bulaga. There was no explanation as to why the said pages were taken down, though in a recorded stream by a third party of the noontime show last June 20, Paolo had talked about their socmed accounts. In the said recorded stream, Paolo apparently was unaware of the taking down of their socmed pages and only realized it near the end of the show, upon which he then gave his opinion about it.

Previously, Paolo, a main host of TAPE's "Eat Bulaga," pleaded with the people who are bashing the staff and crew of “Eat Bulaga” who remained with TAPE Inc. He urged those people to stop bashing those staff and crew because they are just trying to feed their families. The comedian also advised those people to just bash him and the celebrity hosts instead of picking on the staff and crew. He added that the people behind the camera are the real “Eat Bulaga.”
