One of the questions that was asked was whether they were ready to change the title of the show in case.

This was responded to in the negative, with Vic Sotto explaining that it is something that they loved for 44 years and one could not just allow it to be taken away just like that.

"You can just imagine after 44 years, minahal mo... ako more than half of my life. Kapag absent ako sa 'Eat Bulaga!' parang may kulang sa buhay ko tapos kukunin lang ng kung sino-sino, aba hindi pupuwede... hindi papayag si MVP."

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto.

Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon's new photo brought delight to their supporters. The iconic trio's photo, which was posted on their Facebook page named "TVJ," was taken at TV5 Media Center. On Wednesday, TVJ and their "Eat Bulaga" co-hosts went to Kapatid network's building in Mandaluyong for interviews and photoshoots. TVJ's fans then took to the comments section of the photo and penned their positive reactions.

TVJ's Facebook page shared a video showing Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon. The video posted on Wednesday shows the iconic trio arriving at TV5 Media Center. People at the said building could also be heard greeting the three with a good day. On the same day, TVJ and their "Eat Bulaga" co-hosts had a photoshoot and lovely lunch with TV5's bosses and staff.
