It was like a case of the master prankster falling victim to a humorous prank.

In the video that was subsequently uploaded by Julius to his YouTube channel, Julius Babao UNPLUGGED, Joey’s face can be seen showing deep concern over what was happening after the said interview.

Julius’ prank involved his equipment having problems with the audio, which means they would have to do the long interview all over again, or at least half of it.

The prank began when Julius’ companion, the one holding the camera, said there’s appears to be no audio.

“Ha? Oy, oy, oy, oy, wag ganun,” Julius said, while Joey looked on, his face showing concern, he blurted out: “Naloko na.”
“Akala ko ba sanay na kayo dyan ah, di ba?” Joey added.
“Minsan kasi nagluluko kasi yan eh,”Julius said, to which Joey replied: “Ay naku.”

“Ay wala. Kahit half lang, Boss Joey, ulitin natin,” the journalist requested.
“Naku! Ang haba. Ano ang nangyari? Hindi nagdo-double kayo?” the comedian wondered.
“Ulitin na lang natin yung kalahati,” Julius persisted, while Joey appears unhappy with the prospect.
“Paano? Naku?” Joey asked, and at this point, Julius shouted “Wow Mali” and it was only then that it dawned on the comedian the audio problem is only a prank.

He did say, however, that he already suspected something of that sort, though he’s not that sure.

Julius was interviewing the comedian and asking for his thoughts, views, and opinion about the past events that transpired at GMA7 and what they’re looking forward to with TV5.
