Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Her split with Lee O'Brian has caused a buzz on social media.
In a previous report by KAMI, Pokwang lashed out at some unnamed personalities whom she said kept on destroying her name. She told the unidentified persons to go ahead if they would like to make “papansin” to a certain “kano” in his posts on social media. However, Mamang reminded them not to mention her name anymore, calling the persons she didn’t name as “kadiri” and “desperada." The comedienne also explained why she called them as such, adding that they are “kakasuka."
Earlier, The comedienne took to Instagram and clarified that it was "Kano" who lost followers and not her. The comedienne was referring to an IG Story, where she showed that the number of followers of an unnamed individual has drastically dropped by the thousands. Originally, she posted that the followers were 232K followers, then it dropped to 216K, then to 215K. The comedienne received support from many netizens, and in fact, the number of her followers has increased.
