- There was no indication as to when the photo was taken, though one might infer from the caption it could have been taken after the TVJ announced they're parting ways with TAPE Inc.

While the photo was shared by an Instagram private account user and can’t be easily accessed, online media outlet Fashion Pulis was able to get a screenshot of the said pic.

In the post, one can see the supposed crew of “Eat Bulaga,” or EB, with Mayor Jalosjos, with the logo of the highly-rated noontime show looming in the background.

While there is no indication as to when was the photo taken, it can be inferred from its caption that it might have been taken after the sudden announcement of TVJ that they are parting ways with their EB’s producer, TAPE Inc.

In a report by a news media outlet, Rappler, Vic Sotto, one of the three in TVJ, announced that beginning May 31, they are parting ways with TAPE.

“Simula ngayong araw, May 31, 2023, kami po ay magpapaalam na sa TAPE Inc. Karangalan po namin na kami ay nakapaghatid ng tuwa’t saya mula Batanes hanggang Jolo at naging bahagi ng buhay ninyo,” Vic said.

“Eat Bulaga crew with CFO Mayor Bullet. Abangan next week new EB show,” the caption on the photo read.

In a Philippine Star report in March of this year, Mayor Bullet denied rumors they would be replacing TVJ with Willie Revillame.

“No. Not true, for the record po,” Mayor Bullet said in the PhilStar news.

As to the fate of “Eat Bulaga,” another member of TVJ, Tito Sotto, in an Inquirer report has declared that the show will continue online.

Eat Bulaga is touted as the longest-running noontime show, not only in the Philippines but in the whole world. it first aired in the year 1979 over RPN 9. Later, it transferred to ABS-CBN and aired there for 6 years, and then on GMA7 where it stayed for more than 28 years.

In a recent interview with Tito Sen over DWIZ, he assured their fans and followers that "Eat Bulaga" will continue to give enjoyment online. He said people can watch them online since the one who owns their Facebook account is their head writer. He also noted that the FB account is not under TAPE Inc. Tito even said that he heard that the head writers received communication from lawyers, asking them to give the password for the account.

Another TVJ member, Joey De Leon, recently took to Instagram and reposted the post of Marie Sunshine Poblador Delgado. It was a very old photo of the alleged original EB Logo. She said that it was conceptualized by her father, Vic Ja. Delgado and her Tito Joey De Leon. The photo showed TVJ, Coney Reyes, along with other members of the "Eat Bulaga" crew.
