Arjo Atayde reacts to sister Ria Atayde's relationship with Zanjoe Marudo: "I'm very happy"

Arjo and Ria Atayde were recently interviewed on the morning talk show "Magandang Buhay."

During their interview with hosts Regine Velasquez, Melai Cantiveros, and Jolina Magdangal, Arjo was asked about his thoughts on his sister's relationship with actor Zanjoe Marudo.

Without hesitation, Arjo expressed his joy for his sister.

"I'm very happy for her. I'm just very happy that she found someone who could make her happy," he stated.

Arjo's words show how much he cares for his sister's happiness.

He further shared that, throughout Ria's past relationships, he has never meddled but instead asked her partners not to hurt her.

"I'm very happy for her. I'm just very happy that she found someone who could make her happy. Alam naman ni Ria eversince, sa past relationships niya, hindi po talaga ako nakikialam. I just asked the man of my sister to never hurt her as much as possible. That's my only request," he said.

The actor also acknowledged the positive influence Zanjoe has on his sister's life, describing him as a good inspiration.

"They've very happy. I'm happy," he added.

"Zanjoe has been a good inspiration to her."

Arjo Atayde is one of the most versatile actors in the industry. Previously, he won Best Actor at the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards for his role in “Bagman”. He is also the son of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez and the fiancé of Maine Mendoza.

Previously, the couple made headlines back in July when they confirmed their engagement. In the viral video, netizens turned emotional upon watching Arjo cry as he gave his speech for Maine.
