Herlene Budol took to IG and gave her mom a lovely Mother's Day message.

She considers her mom as the half of her entire being.

The beauty queen then recalled how her mother carried her for nine moths, and all the sacrifices that she made for Herlene.

"Happy mothers day sa nag iisang Mama lhen ko sa buhay. indi mabubuo ang pangalan ng Herlene kung wala yung kalahati nyang pangalan. Mama maraming salamat sa lahat, yung 9 months mo ako bitbit sa sinapupunan mo ay isang malaking sakripisyo para sa akin."

She then recalled that her mother was the one who brought her to different beauty pageants in barangays, even though no handler would help them.

She was also the one who urged her to join Wowowin' and the rest, she said, was history.

"Ikaw din ang gumala sa akin sa mga barangayan beauty pageant na wala man lang handler na gustong tumulong sa atin. hanggang sa pangungulit mo sa akin at isinabak mo ako sa WOWOWIN. The rest is History."

Herlene, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin”. She later became a host on the said program but had to leave it due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She recently took to Instagram and shared a video of her visit to a Bvlgari store. The video started with Herlene telling her audience that she was visiting Bvlgari. She enters the store, asks how the name is properly pronounced, and then asked what the most expensive piece being sold. The staff then brought the Serpenti necklace, which costs about P8M, and had Herlene try it on along with other items, to reach a total of P17M.

In a separate social media post, Herlene stunned her social media followers anew. This was after she flaunted her attire as Reyna Emperatriz for a Santacruzan. During the event, the actress donned a gorgeous white gown and a beautiful crown. The Kapuso star's queenly look likewise received praise from many netizens.
