Bea Alonzo opens up about the reason for her weight gain: "I recently was diagnosed with hypothyroidism"

Bea Alonzo bravely revealed the reason why she has been gaining weight lately.

She did so in her recent vlog, which she called "Behind the Gram."

One of the things she talked about is when she played tennis with her boyfriend, who is Dominic Roque.

Then, she revealed that she was having a hard time playing it because she gained weight. Aside from that, she also disclosed the real reason behind her weight gain.

“Because aside from having PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), I recently was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, so that’s the reason behind my gaining weight," she said.

“I’m trying to address it now by working out, by dieting, and taking meds for it and supplements. So, wish me luck, sana matapos na siya. So sa mga nagsasabi diyan, bakit ang taba na daw ni Bea, ‘yun po ‘yung reason. Pasensya na po kayo," she further stated.

The Kapuso actress expressed how much she misses her handsome beau. It can be recalled that on Valentine's Day, Bea also published a sweet Instagram post, dedicated to him.

Earlier, Bea Alonzo fangirled over Kapuso actor-comedian Michael V. in an online post. On Instagram, the actress uploaded several photos she took from the set with Michael V., or Bitoy. According to Bea, she thought she would be able to work with Michael V. on "Bubble Gang." However, as per Bea in her online post, that was not the perfect time for them.
