Lolit Solis, in an Instagram post, just laughed off questions that have been posed by some, most of which were asking why Gladys Reyes did not mention the columnist in the actress’ acceptance speech after winning the Best Actress award.

“Natatawa ako pag tinatanong bakit daw hindi ako nabanggit ni Gladys Reyes sa kanyang speech sa Best Actress, Salve,” Manay Lolit wrote in her post.

She then said that the actress might just be in a panicky state and could also be having a mental block.

“Siyempre pag ganuon pagkakataon, taranta ka na at kung minsan meron mental block,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

She then reiterated that it’s not an issue for her because the important thing is that Gladys won the award she has coveted for so long.

“Hindi issue iyon mga maliit na bagay gaya ng ganyan dahil ang importante nanalo si Gladys Reyes na matagal na niyang pangarap,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

She then thanked the cast of the movie and its director and also expressed her gratitude that Gladys won the Best Actress award as it is the dream of every artist like her.

The veteran showbiz columnist then said that it’s a pity that the career of Enrique would be affected because of the breaking up of his loveteam with Liza Soberano. Nevertheless, Manay Lolit said that this might turn out well for Quen as other big stars in the past further grew their career when they parted ways with their longtime loveteams.

In another social media post, claimed that the dream of some Pinoy artists to have a chance of becoming a Hollywood star is like shooting at the moon. She said that aside from Liza Soberano, there were already many actors who have tried their luck in trying to become Hollywood stars and appear in international movies. The veteran showbiz columnist said that while Pinoy actors have the beauty and talent to land a role in an international Hollywood film, the dream remains elusive. Manay Lolit then wondered why Pinoy actors still wanted to have a crack at Hollywood when they are already doing good in the Philippines in terms of their showbiz careers.
