Lolit Solis, through an Instagram post, expressed her puzzlement over the interview of Toni Gonzaga with Hollywood star Vanessa Hudgens.

She asked what could be happening in the Pinoy showbiz industry that it is now awash with controversies, particularly when the talk is steered toward Vanessa.

“Ewan ko kung bakit pati iyon interview ni Toni Gonzaga kay Vanessa Hudgens nagkaruon ng controversy Salve,” Manay Lolit said in the beginning of her post.

The veteran showbiz columnist said that she read the said interview might not be shown, giving rise to more speculations, all the while expressing puzzlement at what is happening right now in the Philippines showbiz industry.

“Nabasa ko kasi na baka hindi ito mailabas kaya nagtataka ang marami, why?” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

“Ano ba nangyayari at napakaraming nakakabit na controversy sa pagdalaw ng Hollywood star dito sa Pilipinas,” she added.

Manay Lolit said that Vanessa looked very kind and appeared very sweet so it’s a pity when controversies result in undesirable occurrences.

“Mukha pa naman mabait at very sweet ni Vanessa Hudgens kaya sayang naman at nagkaruon ng mga ganitong pangyayari,” she said.

“Nag enjoy pa naman at puring puri ng mga naka meet ng Hollywood star ang ugali nito na talagang may pagka pinoy dahil sa Filipina na mother niya,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

She then expressed hope that she would be able to watch the exclusive interview of Toni Gonzaga so she herself could determine what could have been earlier seen by other Filipinos during the interview.

“Sana naman mapanuod ang exclusive interview ni Toni Gonzaga, para naman makita natin kung ano pa ang mga bagay na mapapansin natin sa ating kababayan na naging isang star sa Hollywood, si Vanessa Hudgens. Bongga di ba#classiclolita,” Manay Lolit said.

The veteran showbiz columnist said that while Pinoy actors have the beauty and talent to land a role in an international Hollywood film, the dream remains elusive. Manay Lolit then wondered why Pinoy actors still wanted to have a crack at Hollywood when they are already doing good in the Philippines in terms of their showbiz careers.
