Gardo Versoza made headlines after getting hospitalized and admitted to the ICU due to a heart attack. On Instagram, his wife Ivy Vicencio gave an update about Gardo’s health.

The actor was finally discharged from the hospital but in two months, he will undergo another angioplasty to treat his heart ailment.

Amid the Holy Week, Gardo visited a Catholic church and participated in a mass while in a wheelchair after he got discharged.

”Medyo ok na po sya at pinayagan na muna ng mga doctors nya na maka uwi. After 2 months mag undergo po sya ulit ng isa pang Angioplasty. Hindi naisabay nung una dahil may Heart Attack na nangyayari. Again .. taos pusong pasasalamat po sainyong lahat,” Ivy posted.

Mennen Torres Polintan, known by his stage name Gardo Versoza, is a popular Filipino actor who has appeared in over forty movies and dozens of television shows. In early 2016, he began taking the moniker, "Cupcake", which was originally given by his best friend, Aiai Delas Alas.

Gardo, 52, has undergone a much-needed knee procedure for his joints. On Instagram, the 52-year-old actor uploaded a short video clip of his knee procedure. He then expressed his desire to recover soon and to be able to go back to dancing once more. Aside from this, Gardo also took the time to respond to some of the netizens' questions.

He has earned praises from netizens with his online post on Instagram. Just recently, the 51-year-old actor posted a new selfie he took after washing their clothes. According to the veteran actor, one should not be ashamed if their task in the house is to clean clothes. His online post not only caught the attention of netizens but as well as his co-actor in “First Yaya.”
