Willie Revillame has come under the spotlight after news about his alleged resignation from AMBS-2 was shared by Cristy Fermin.

In the latest episode of Cristy’s ‘SNN’ on YouTube, KAMI learned that the veteran columnist received the alleged news from one of her sources.

“Ito talagang… nako, grabe po ito. First time niyo po itong maririnig, mapapanood dito sa aming programa,” she began.

According to Cristy, one of their sources claimed that Willie already filed his resignation from AMBS-2.

”Isa pong source ang nakapagbalita sa amin na sumulat na po si Willie Revillame sa pamunuan ng ALLTV, ng AMBS-2, sumulat na po siya at nag-resign na po siya. Wala na siyang kinalaman sa istasyon,” she said.

Halfway through the video, Cristy recalled why Willie decided to part ways with his show on GMA-7.

”Pero diba utang na loob ang sinasabi nating dahilan kung bakit lumipat mula sa GMA-7 si Willie Revillame sa ALLTV. Siguro naman po yung pang-iiwan ni Willie sa kanyang Wowowin na talagang kumikita siya ng milyon-milyon at talagang punong-puno talaga ng commercials at sikat na sikat,” she recalled.

Cristy also added that Willie has no longer nothing to prove when it comes to the topic of “utang na loob.”

”Para iwanan yan ni Willie Revillame at sumama siya sa pamilyar Villar na tinatawanan niya ng utang na loob, wala na tayong masasabi pa. Wala na siyang kailangang patunayan pa,” she said.

He said, "bear with us, ika nga" considering that the station is still new. This was his reaction to the criticisms of many, especially when it comes to the sound on the shows.

Meanwhile, Willie Revillame's daughter, Marimonte, took to Instagram to greet him on Father's Day. Marimonte also uploaded some photos of her with Willie and her brother, Juamee Revillame. In her post, she also called the famous TV host her favorite pilot.
