Lolit Solis has defended Vice Ganda and Ion Perez from netizens who have been criticizing their decision to buy a dog worth Php 380,000.

Previously, the celebrity couple made headlines after introducing their new fur baby in a viral vlog that was posted on Vice's channel.

Following this news, KAMI learned that some netizens aired their criticisms about the couple's decision on social media.

On Instagram, the veteran columnist told netizens to let people spend their money freely since they worked hard for it.

"Totoo iyon sinabi ni Vice Ganda na hayaan natin sila kung ano gusto nila gawin dahil pera naman nila iyon ginagasta nila, Salve. Wala rin tayong pakialam kung bumili ng mga Hermès bag ang mga artista ngayon dahil gusto nila. Kaya sila nagtratrabaho dahil gusto nila bumili ng mamahalin bagay, so be it. Kanya-kanya tayong trip sa buhay, basta hindi tayo ang hiningan ng pambili, wala tayong karapatan magreklamo," she wrote.

According to Lolit, there should be no problem with Vice and Ion buying a dog worth P380k since it is their own money.

"Ganyan talaga, ibigay mo iyon hilig ng iba, pabayaan mo rin kung ano ang gusto nila. Suwerte ka kung kagaya nila may pera kang pambili ng 380K na aso tulad nila Vice Ganda, or 25M na worth ng Hermès bag gaya ng nabalitang bagong gamit ni Marian Rivera. Ok lang, pera nila iyon. Kaya no problem. Huwag ng gawan ng issue dahil lalo lang nakikita na talagang sa buhay may kaibahan ang mahirap sa mayaman," she continued.
