Sunshine Dizon expressed grief over the passing of her father, Isagani Bengzon Dizon, in a viral post on Instagram.

KAMI learned that Sunshine confirmed the unfortunate news about her dad in a viral post on IG made on Wednesday, March 22.

In her online post, the Mga Lihim ni Urduja actress uploaded a throwback picture of herself giving her dad a back hug.

Sunshine also penned a heartbreaking note about her father's passing, saying she will always be a papa's girl.

"I love you Papa. I never knew this kind of pain and longing. I will always be a Papa's girl," the 39-year-old actress wrote.

Following this news, several celebrities have expressed their sympathies and condolences to the actress in the comments section.

Among them was Carla Abellana, who wrote, "I am so sorry for your loss, Ate Sunshine." Angelika Dela Cruz also reacted and said, "My condolences, mare, to you and your family."

Sunshine Dizon is a well-known actress in the Philippines. She worked for GMA for 25 years before finally transferring to ABS-CBN. The actress married businessman Timothy Tan in 2010, and they have two children. However, their marriage ended in 2016.
