Ogie Diaz has finally addressed Liza Soberano's controversial statement about him from her exclusive interview with Boy Abunda.

Previously, Liza made headlines when she said, "It actually hurts me that he's making up those lies about me," referring to her Tito Ogie.

Following this news, KAMI learned that Ogie discussed the matter with his co-host, Loi Villarama, in their 'Showbiz Update' vlog.

"Nay, ito, sabi ni Liza, hindi raw niya alam why you're making lies about dun sa 2 years na hindi ka na tumatanggap ng commission from her. Yun yung exact words niya," Loi began.

Upon hearing this, Ogie recalled the interview and said Boy's exact question to the actress about the commission issue.

"Unang-una, tinanong yan ni Kuya Boy, sabi ni Kuya Boy, 'Nabasa ko. Pwede ko ba itanong 'to na nabasa ko na hindi na tumatanggap ng commission ang Tito Ogie mo,'" Ogie emphasized.

According to Ogie, he never said he was no longer getting any commission from Liza, clarifying that he only said Liza was no longer taking projects from him.

"Wala ho akong sinasabi na hindi ako tumatanggap ng commission. Ang sinasabi ko po ay hindi na tumatanggap si Liza ng mga project dahil nga papunta na siya dun sa ibang direksyon. Naghihintay na lang siya na matapos ang kontrata. Magkaiba ho yung hindi tumatanggap ng komisyon sa hindi na tumatanggap ng project si Liza coming from me," he explained.

The talent manager also mentioned that he is still getting commissions from their former existing contracts.

"Ang tinatanggap na lang po namin, ako mismo, ay yung mga existing contracts na bago mag-expire, nakapirma pa ako dun sa contract. Naabutan ng expiration pero tumatanggap pa rin kami. So wala akong sinasabi na hindi ako tumatanggap ng komisyon," he revealed.
