“Personal career growth media release gone wrong,” she wrote.
While Ethel recognizes the good intentions of Liza, she said that the actress should use the right words, otherwise, there is the danger that she might get misunderstood.
“Andun yung magandang intention niya where we all agree-right comm plan lang and use of right words. Let’s not be careless lest we be misunderstood,” Ethel said.
It can be recalled that Liza made some controversial remarks on her vlog, interview with Bea Alonzo, and recent interview with Boy Abunda.
In her previous vlog, the actress made an indication that she had no freedom to choose her own clothes or speak for herself.
In the interview with Bea, she described her being in a love team as being ‘boxed in’, while in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, she claimed to have been forced into becoming an actress to help her family.
Liza, or Hope, as she prefers to be called now, is a Fil-Am actress, singer, endorser, and model. She has starred in various TV series and movies, which include 'Forevermore,' 'Dolce Amore,' and 'Bagani,' among others. She is currently in a relationship with her on-screen partner, Enrique Gil.
Recently, an old statement of Liza during the days that she was still auditioning has surfaced. During her audition, she said that ever since she was still a kid, she already wanted to become either an actress or a model. However, in her most recent interview with Boy Abunda, she said that she did not dream of becoming an actress and that "they" simply assumed that she wanted to become one. In the recent interview, Liza also said that she became an actress in order for her to put herself through school.
During her interview with Boy Abunda, the actress also admitted getting hurt by the talk show host's statement about her video. Previously, Boy made headlines when he said he was highly disappointed by Liza's vlog. Following this news, during their interview, Boy had asked Liza what she felt from his statement. In the video, Liza openly admitted that she was actually hurt by Boy's words on his show.
